Ciara Makes Russell Wilson Her ‘Man Crush Monday’ In Instagram Post

Pop star Ciara has a major crush on Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. The “I Bet” singer, whose full name is Ciara Princess Harris, took to Instagram to show her adoration for the football star.

She shared a photo of Wilson, 26, in his Seahawks jersey. He has eye black under both his eyes and a determined look on his face as the classic Seattle rain falls on his back. She captioned the picture simply, “MCM.”

For those who don’t known, “MCM” is just one of the many social media “holidays.” For every day of the week, there is a different type of holiday. “MCM” stands for “Man Crush Monday” and naturally occurs on Mondays. Social media users typically post a picture of their crush (whoever it may be at the time) and then tag it with “MCM.” Sometimes, people will write out the term.

Unfortunately for fans, Ciaria didn’t add any further information to her caption. Still, fans were pleased to see Wilson pop up on her feed. More than 30,000 of her 6.4 million followers liked the image. “You're too cute @ciara !! Great guy!! You two are perfect together!” one person wrote. “The prettiest couple ever. So happy for you CiCi!” another added.

Ciara, 29, isn’t the only one who showed social media love. He posted a picture of the two of them together and called her his PYT, which stands for “Pretty Young Thing,” when she accompanied him to the White House. “Dancing at The @WhiteHouse to Prince & Stevie Wonder w/ my lady @Ciara Thanks Mr. President & First Lady! #IsntSheLovely #Blessed,” he captioned a second picture of himself and Ciara, which was posted last week. The post garnered nearly 60,000 likes from his 1.4 million followers.

Their relationship is new and the couple is having great time. "It's still at the beginning stages and it's very fresh," a source told E! News. "She thinks he is a complete gentleman and has really enjoyed hanging out with him these past few weeks. It's constant laughter and fun with them."
