Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson got a heartfelt message from his wife Ciara on Father’s Day. The singer apparently expressed her gratitude to the man who stood by her since day 1.

On Sunday, Ciara took to Instagram to share a video clip of her, Wilson and son Future Zahir Wilburn feeding a giraffe in a zoo. The heartwarming family moment was made extra special by the 31-year-old mom when she wrote a loving note for her husband.

“Since Day 1, you have always been there with open arms! You have always given your all! I’m so grateful for the Man and Father you are to our family,” Ciara wrote of Wilson, who wholeheartedly accepted her and her son with ex Future. “You are The Best Dad In The World. We love you soooo much! #HappyFathersDay.”

On the same day, Wilson spoke with People about his first baby, Sienna Princess, who arrived just 7 weeks ago. “[Sienna]’s happy and healthy, that’s for sure. She’s doing really well. She’s doing great,” he said of his daughter with Ciara.

The couple welcomed baby Sienna on April 28, less than a year since they tied the knot in July 2016.

Since it’s Father’s Day, Wilson also paid tribute to his own father, Harrison B. Wilson III, who passed away in June 2010. “I’ve always admired my dad and how he was. He’s no longer living with me, but he stays with me everyday,” he said. “I love being a father that’s for sure. If I can be half the father my father was, I know I’m doing a decent job.”

Apart from celebrating the special occasion with his family, Wilson grabbed the chance to honor the other dads who love their kids and families unconditionally. In partnership with Pampers, Wilson visited Seattle Children’s Hospital to hand out special presents to fathers who are staying there to care for their sick children.

Wilson shared a clip of his endearing experience on Twitter. He also posted the same footage on Instagram and captioned it: “I’m happy to join [Pampers] to say thank you to the hardworking dads out there. True heroes to your kids. Happy Father’s Day!”
