Supermodel Cindy Crawford was definitely one of the best dressed women during the 2016 Met Gala held on Monday. The 50-year-old model was even accompanied by famous fashion designer Olivier Rousteing during the event.

Crawford proved she still had the wow factor to impress fans and critics when she graced the 2016 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala red carpet with a shiny silver dress. The metallic dress is part of Rousteing’s Balmain’s designer gowns. Crawford’s dress was also a nod to the event’s tech theme. The gown featured a figure-hugging and sheer-paneled design, People magazine reported.

The long-sleeved, floor-length Balmain gown also showed off the supermodel’s bare shoulders. She completed her 2016 Met Gala red carpet look with geometric drop statement earrings, as stated in the same report. Crawford also kept her hair loose and flowing past her shoulders. She accentuated her glamorous look with smoky eye make-up and a nude colored lipstick.

The supermodel was accompanied by designer Rousteing, who even shared a snapshot of Crawford on Instagram while she was preparing for the event, E!News reported. The photo showed the model’s shapely back while a make-up artist applied her glam look for the gala. Rousteing captioned the image, “SHE IS GETTING READY #HONORED #HISTORY #metgala2016 #balmainarmy #couture.”

Crawford also shared in an interview with E!News during the event that she was excited to become a part of the group of ladies who had the chance to wear a Balmain gown. She even stated how being Rousteing’s red carpet companion at the 2016 Met Gala has impressed her daughter Kaia Gerber. "It definitely gave me cool points with my daughter," Crawford said.

The 50-year-old fashion icon has also shared a photo on Instagram of herself with Rousteing prior the event. The picture showed Crawford hugging the fashion designer in her silver Balmain gown as they both looked towards the camera. She wrote on the said social media site, “Off we go! #MetGala.” She even included a kiss mark emoji to her post.
