Clean Wind Energy Tower, Inc. announced yesterday that they would be presenting their Company at the National Investment Banking Association (NIBA) Conference. This conference is taking place March 2 to 4, 2011, at the Westin Beach Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

NIBA is the only not-for-profit association for national, regional, and independent broker dealers, investment banking firms, investment advisors, and related capital market service providers. NIBA’s focus, for more than 28 years, has been to provide a forum for quality micro-cap and small-cap companies looking for financing, or exposure to present their story.

The NIBA Conference will give Clean Wind Energy Tower, Inc. access to a large audience at one time. NIBA has a membership that is extensive and multinational. Their membership represents more than 8,800 registered representatives with an estimated $78BB in assets under management.

The highlight of Clean Wind Energy Tower, Inc.’s presentation will be the formal unveiling of their Downdraft Tower featuring Green Dual Renewable Energy Solutions. Mr. Ronald W. Pickett, President and Chief Executive Officer, will give the presentation.

The Downdraft Tower is a hollow cylinder with a water spray system at the top. Pumps deliver water to the top of the Downdraft Tower to spray a fine mist across the entire opening. The water subsequently evaporates and cools the hot dry air at the top. The cooled air is denser and heavier than the outside warmer air. This cool air falls through the cylinder at speeds of up to 50 mph, driving the turbines located at the structure’s base.

These turbines power generators to produce electricity. The Downdraft Tower has the capability of being operated with virtually no carbon footprint, fuel consumption, or waste production. This technology has the potential to generate clean, cost effective, and efficient electrical power. This is without the damaging effects caused by using fossil or nuclear fuels, and other conventional power sources.

Mr. Pickett stated, “Reliable alternative energy is very different from just providing green solutions. The Tower produces energy 24/7. The Tower creates wind using natural solar energy and water. The Tower is actually a power plant with a predictable production of electricity. Knowing its cost of producing electricity for a long term separates the Tower from other alternative sources.”

He further stated, “The exterior of the Downdraft Tower is constructed with vertical ‘wind vanes’ that run the entire length of the structure. The Downdraft Tower’s vanes capture the prevailing wind and channel it through a separate system of tunnels to turn turbines attached to generators that produce additional electrical power. This ‘Dual’ Renewable Energy feature increases the Tower’s production by approximately 30 percent while stabilizing the structure and actually reducing the construction cost.”

Clean Wind Energy Tower, Inc. also believes that increasing emphasis on green technologies and governmental incentives in the energy industry should have a positive long-term effect on their planned business and the wind energy industry in general.

Clean Wind Energy Tower, Inc.’s wholly-owned subsidiary is Clean Wind Energy, Inc. This subsidiary is designing and preparing to develop and construct large “Downdraft Towers”. These towers use benevolent, non-toxic natural elements to generate electricity and clean water economically. This is through integrating and synthesizing many proven and emerging technologies.

Furthermore, Clean Wind intends to establish partnerships at home and internationally to propagate these systems and meet increasing worldwide demand for clean water and electricity. They have filed several patents that they believe will further enhance this potentially revolutionary technology.

Clean Wind Energy Tower, Inc. has their headquarters in Annapolis, Maryland.
