Kim Clijsters looked like her old self at the French Open, five years after her last appears. Clijsters easily dispatched Anastasiya Takimova in straight sets 6-2 6-3.

Clijsters appeared to answer all the questions about her ankle injury, which was sustained two months ago during a dancing accident.

Though Yakimova is only ranked 100 in the world, the win was impressive nonetheless.

Still, the path ahead for Clijsters will be a long one. The overall number two will have to face some tough competition.

One of those could be the suddenly resurgent Maria Sharapova who also won in straight sets 6-3 6-0 over Mirjana Lucic.

Prior to the start of the French Open, Sharapova was quoted as saying about Clijsters, She's certainly the one to beat here.

A possible finals match could be with Caroline Wozniaki, who will be hungry for her first ever Grand Slam title.

It remains to be seen whether or not Clijsters is back, but she showed her old form today.

What do you think? Is Kim Clijsters back? How did she look? Can she win it all?
