Colin Kaepernick Girlfriend? Sanaa Lathan, 49ers QB Post Dinner Date Photo On Instagram, Spark Dating Rumors [PICTURE]

An Instagram photo posted over the weekend has some speculating that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has a new girlfriend.

Kaepernick, 25, posed for a picture with actress Sanaa Lathan, 42, on Saturday night. The Instagram post seems to show the apparent couple on a dinner date. The photo garnered more than 64,000 “likes” from Instagram users.

Lathan fueled rumors that she’s dating Kaepernick by posting the same photo, along with the caption, “xoxo.” Still, Kaepernick and Lathan have yet to directly address the dating rumors.

The film and stage actress has appeared in several box offices hits and is best known for star turns in “Love & Basketball,” “Alien vs. Predator” and “Nip/Tuck.” She's 17 years older than Kaepernick.

This isn’t the first time that Kaepernick has been rumored to be dating a fellow celebrity. The 49ers quarterback was linked to U.S. Olympic soccer player Sydney Leroux earlier this month after the gold medalist sent him a flirtatious tweet.

Kaepernick quickly denied that they were romantically involved. When asked if he had watched Leroux’s four-goal performance in the U.S. women’s national soccer team’s victory over Mexico on Sept. 3, Kaepernick claimed that he hadn’t been watching, and said that he and Leroux weren't dating. “Not my girlfriend,” Kaepernick told the San Jose Mercury News. “I didn’t see the game. I was working.”
