Attendees at Comic Con in San Diego make the annual event special by showing off their creative costumes.

Many flock to the sub-culture festival to catch the latest news on their favorite franchises. Some of them go to get a sneak-peek at the best upcoming sci-fi and comic book movies, and yet some others go to show off their creativity and fandom.

The event has become so big and important that biggest stars are sent to represent movie studios.

The event generally has a huge crowd, and features Q&A panels, games and booths, where fans can meet their favorite comic book writers, artists or movie actors.

But the costumes, for many people, will always be the most exciting part. Millions of attendees all across the world come to see the show.
