Brazilian model and former Victoria's Secret angel Gisele Bundchen is the new face of the Versace Spring Summer campaign, featuring a series of glamorous shots for the Italian label.

Taken in the luxurious Borrego Springs, California, the campaign also features model Ryan Barrett along with Bundchen. The sultry shots in blue have been taken by renowned fashion photographer Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

I was thinking of sirens and mermaids, their hot sexuality, said the label's creator Donatella Versace to Vogue.

Apart from Versace, the stunning model was also featured in brand new 2012 campaigns for Givenchy and Salvatorre Ferragamo. Known for her glamorous looks, Bundchen was the first in a wave of Brazilian models to find international success.

Credited for ending the heroin chic era of modeling, she is one of the highest-paid models in the world with a fortune worth several millions. In June 2011, Forbes magazine estimated that Bundchen's total earnings over the last 10 years have passed the $250 million mark.

Bundchen has, in the past, featured in a number of ad campaigns for high-end luxury brands like Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior and Valentino. In fact, from 1998-2003 she was in every Dolce & Gabbana fashion campaign, totaling 11 consecutive campaigns with the brand.

Besides this, Bundchen has also walked the ramp for the Big 4 fashion weeks in New York, Milan and Paris.
