Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) said Tuesday that is delaying its fiscal fourth-quarter and full year 2007 earnings reports as it finalizes some accounting issues.

The fifth-largest U.S. technology services company, which was scheduled to report its full results today, said in a statement that revenue was $4 billion to $4.1 billion in the quarter, and earnings per share were $1.51 to $1.61, excluding some costs.

Analysts polled by Thomson Financial were looking for earnings of $1.49 a share on revenue of $4.08 billion.

The firm says it will release full results shortly, as it needs time to finalize the accounting for income taxes related to certain prior-period transactions.

Shares of Computer Sciences rose 46 cents, or .81 percent to $57.52 in morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
