Four members of the Olympic team from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have reportedly disappeared in London, a week after five members of the Cameroonian boxing delegation also vanished.

The four Congolese athletes – comprising the nation’s entire team – included Cedric Mandembo, who competed in judo, and have not been seen since the Games concluded on Sunday.

None of the four won any medals.

DRC has been ravaged by decades of civil war and is beset by poverty.
