US Consumer Confidence for this month rose to 49.5; better than the forecasted reading of 47.3 and the prior revised reading of 48.7 from 47.7 and the confidence regarding the present situation came in at 21.0 from 21.1 in October and 23.0 in September, while the confidence regarding consumers expectations climbed to 68.5 from 57.0.

However, an optimistic projection on one hand regarding business conditions in the country plunged to 20.0 from 20.8 and pessimism projections concerning the business conditions plummeted to 15.1 from 18.2, while on the other hand the incline of jobs projections decreased to 15.2 from 16.8.
