Japan consumer price index for the year ended March 31, fell by 0.1%, comparing with a previous drop 0.3% last year, which was revised to -0.2% while the anticipations referred to 0.0%.

Japan's annualized Natl CPI excluding food and energy came out at 0.0% during the 12 months ended March, where the actual reading came better than a previous -0.3 %, further the analysts' expectations estimated of 0.1%.
