It is always green where it is lush. In the Caribbean, the developers of the Bluff in Cayman Brac are doing their best on ecological and luxury matters. Upon final approval of local authorities, DLZ Real Estate Holdings is going to build a 215-acre mixed-use luxury property at the northwest tip of the Bluff. A five-star quality 125-room boutique hotel and luxury private residences are the project's foundation. As reported by the Caymanian Compass, the Cayman Island's leading newspaper, the project is being presented to the local planning department for final approval later this year.

The Bluff will leave as light of a footprint as possible ecologically. Solar energy and a water-reclamation system will be implemented. The overall plan, while being sumptuous, leaves the majority of the land undisturbed. The resort community will blend into the community with onsite educational programs and special eco-tours. With a restaurant, an amphitheater and an observatory as part of the development, there will be new job openings in the area.

The luxuriously appointed boutique hotel will feature 125 guestrooms, with eight-floor plans, ranging from a standard room up to a 6,000 square-foot suite. The lavish suite also has approximately 2,400 square feet of exterior space. Each room has a private plunge pool. A five-star decorum will permeate throughout the Bluff in Cayman Brac. The spa will be an integral part of the five-star amenities, a 20,000-square-foot center offering therapeutic and replenishing body treatments as well as enlightening classes geared toward long-term self-improvement.

Amenities on the resort will include infinity edge pools; personal attendants; a fine-dining restaurant; indoor and outdoor lounges; flexible meeting spaces, special event and retail spaces and various water-related activities, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, sports fishing, and more. Wall diving and rock-climbing endeavors will be there for the intense-adventure seekers, as well as abundant hiking, walking, and bicycling trails.
