Jon Gosselin seeks counseling from Rabbi Shmuley

Jon Gosselin is seeking spiritual guidance from well known Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in a bid to reconnect with his spiritual and altruistic self, USMagazine.com reported.

According to a report from CNN, Gosselin is receiving "regular study sessions and counseling" with the Rabbi also known as one of Michael Jackson's spiritual advisers.

 Boteach is the author of "The Michael Jackson Tapes" and host of TLC's "Shalom in the Home" series.

The father of eight is half Jewish and half Korean.
