Adam Lambert rude closing act at AMAs stirs controversy

23 November 2009 @ 01:49 pm EDT

Former "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert brought out a "graphic" performance of his new single "For Your Entertainment" for the closing of the American Music Awards 2009 scandalizing if not all, much of the viewers.

Lambert's performance at the end of the Awards show was touted as the most awaited of the night. Lambert's choreography was full of graphic dance moves with his dancers (male and female) at some point causing the cameras to turn away.

Also, halfway on the performance, the self-declared gay singer planted a long kiss to his male keyboardist.

On Monday, entertainment outlets commented that Lambert's performance was "crotch-centered" and put to shame any of Madonna's and Britney's scandalizing shows seen in the past.

Lambert's first album "For Your Entertainment" debuts today.

Lambert's performance video is shown below. It is not recommended to watch if you are easily offended.
