Tokyo architects Yasutaka and Michiyo Yoshimura (a husband/wife team) of Yasutaka Yoshimura Architects have embarked on a sideline as hoteliers, creating three seaside houses available for rent under the name Nowhere Resort. The couple's Nowhere But Hayama project is a reimagined traditional Japanese house in Hayama, a resort town two hours from Tokyo, featuring sloping tiled roofs, tatami floors, and sliding doors. Michiyo Yoshimura fills the house with refined objects that guests can buy on their departure; she is also introducing a line of linens. Go to Nowhere Resorts for more information.
