Both of Saturday's matches went to overtime, and now we await the Sunday matches between Brazil and Paraguay, as well as Venezuela and Chile.

In the first game, Peru and Colombia played a scoreless 90 minutes, leading to a 30 minute overtime. Colombia could have put the game away in the regulation, but a missed penalty kick get the match 0-0, until late into the overtime

In the second match, host country Argentina and Uruguay played to a 1-1 result, and then went to overtime and then penalty kicks. In a spirited match, both teams had a red card to a prominent player. For Uruguay it was Diego Perez, who picked up two yellow cards in the first half. Defensive midfielder Javier Macherano received his second yellow late in the second half.

All eyes were on Lionel Messi to see if he can score after being held without a goal in three Copa America matches.
