Police were called to Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin's house on Thursday afternoon as the ex-couple goes through divorce proceedings, People magazine reported.

Police got there and calmed the situation down. No one was arrested and no citations were issued, an officer told the magazine.

According to an unnamed source in the report, the couple's fight happened after Kate did not approve of the babysitter that Jon brought home to watch the children. Kate tried to enter the property but due to the custody agreement she was not allowed and police had to prevent her from doing so.

Kate appeared this week in her first public interview on the Today Show since they announced their divorce. Kate said she still loved the Jon she knew but had no hope to reunite with him.

The couple co-star the reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 with their eight children.
