Etienne Uzac is the co-founder and CEO of IBT Media, a New York based digital media company. Etienne started the company in 2006 with Johnathan Davis after completing his Bachelor's degree at LSE.
Etienne grew up in France and South Africa and while studying for college in London, he saw an opportunity to enhance the business media offering to emerging / fast-growing countries. So he started working on launching International Business Times (ibt.com), a digital property with now over 15M monthly unique visitors.
Building on the success of IBTimes, Etienne and Johnathan spearheaded the launch of new consumer media brands, a video technology platform and more recently a suite of B2B brands.
Co-Founder, Chief Content Officer
Johnathan Davis is Chief Content Officer of The International Business Times Inc. He is responsible for digital content strategy across the company's global network, and the deployment and delivery across new and existing platforms. Davis co-founded the company with current Publisher and Chief Executive Etienne Uzac.
Davis previously served as the company's first Executive Editor, establishing global reporting and ethical standards, as well as developing editorial operations across the world. With this framework, IBTimes has grown to serve the needs of over 10 million monthly readers on every continent.
Before IBTimes, Davis worked as an engineer at several semiconductor companies, including Nvidia and S3. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with Computer Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Chief Technology Officer
Michael Lukac is the Chief Technology Officer at International Business Times. He oversees the global IT strategy, design and deployment of all business units.
Prior to his current role in New York, he was based in London and worked as the IT Director at IBTimes UK. Lukac held various IT titles prior to joining the organization, including the University Hospital Ruzinov in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Lukac received his masters from FEI Technical University at Kosice, Slovakia.
Chief Financial Officer
Allen Goldman is the Chief Financial Officer of IBT Media. His responsibilities include the accounting and financial reporting of the Company. He is an advisor to the CEO for strategic business, financial and financing matters. Allen brings over 30 years of practical, hands on business knowledge and experience to IBT. His career includes being a member of a National Certified Public Accounting Firm, the Chief Financial Officer for several enterprises spanning a wide number of industries, and most recently running a Business and Financial Advisory Consulting Firm.
Mr. Goldman received his BBA and his MBA from Pace University in New York.
Scott Miller is the SVP of Sales & Marketing at IBT Media, overseeing all global ad sales and sponsorships. He continues to grow the overall revenue exponentially each year. He is also involved with the company's business development and marketing efforts. Prior to joining IBT Media in May 2012, Mr. Miller was SVP of Digital Sales at North American Media Group, where he led the development of the digital advertising products including display, video, social and mobile. In this role, he grew advertising sales by over 250%.
Prior to North American Media Group, he was VP of Global Digital Sales at Bloomberg Businessweek where he doubled the digital advertising revenue and launched their mobile apps business. He also held senior roles at Ziff Davis Media and Ziff Davis Enterprise and was one of the Co-Founders of Professional Social Networks, Inc. and started the world's first professional social network for CIOs called CIOZone. Mr. Miller received a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
Itai Maytal is the General Counsel for IBT Media, Inc. He is responsible for managing legal matters for the company, including contract negotiation, newsgathering and publication concerns, privacy oversight, licensing, intellectual property management and litigation.
Itai was previously with the law firm of Miller Korzenik Sommers LLP, where he advised and litigated on media and entertainment issues. He also taught First Amendment and general media law at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Itai was the inaugural First Amendment Fellow at The New York Times Company, where he defended libel actions; litigated access to courts; counseled the company's newspaper and Internet clients on intellectual property usage and agreements; and worked with its journalists on a variety of reporting initiatives.
Itai received his law degree from Cardozo Law School in 2008, during which time he completed internships in the legal departments of The Associated Press and The New Yorker magazine. Before law school, he worked as a journalist for the Watertown Daily Times (N.Y.), a business wire called mergermarket.com and a judicial watchdog site called judicialreports.com. Itai is a 2003 graduate of the Columbia Journalism School and a 2000 graduate from Yale University.
Public Relations Director
Emily Scheer is the Public Relations Director of IBT Media. She handles press outreach across the company's brands, including Newsweek and International Business Times.
Emily has spent her career in news and media, having previously held positions at CBS News, CNN, TheStreet, Inc. and The Rosen Group. She was named a “min Rising Star” in 2014, which recognizes media leaders under 30 who have impacted the industry.
Emily was on the Dean’s List at Cornell University, where she graduated with a BA in film and government.
Director of Ad Operations
David Kennedy is the Advertising Operations Director for The International Business Times and leads the Ad Ops team handling all the advertising on their website, IBTimes.com and its satellite sites.
Dave joined IBTimes in August 2011 after building and managing the advertising operations at Accuweather, Inc. for eight years.
After twenty-two years in the Army, Dave retired from the military and went back to school to obtain his degree. He is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a BS in Computer Information Science.
Managing Director, EMEA
Dev Pragad is the Managing Director, EMEA for IBT Media. He successfully launched the UK IBT office in 2009 where IBTimes UK and Newsweek EMEA editions are based. He is responsible for the overall strategic planning and development of the company and its commercial growth in EMEA.
Prior to joining IBT Mr Pragad worked as an Academic Researcher at King’s College London. He holds B.Eng in Computer Systems and Ph.D in Mobile Internet from King’s College London, University of London.
Peter S. Goodman is Global Editor-In-Chief of the International Business Times, supervising the publication's editors and reporters in its main New York newsroom as well as its international sites from the United Kingdom to Australia. An award-winning journalist, Goodman was previously Shanghai bureau chief for the Washington Post, national economic correspondent for the New York Times and executive business and global news editor for the Huffington Post. He is leading a worldwide buildout of IBT, expanding the presence and impact of its growing body of original reporting, providing a growing audience with illuminating, authoritative coverage of the global economy.
Before coming to the International Business Times, Nancy Cooper was a longtime Senior Editor and Special Projects Editor at Newsweek magazine and newsweek.com. She was Deputy Executive Producer of TheTakeaway, at New York Public Radio, and was a Homepage Editor at msnbc.com. Nancy lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
Mark F. Bonner is the Managing Editor of the International Business Times. Previously, he was the Managing Editor at Graphis, an international book publisher, and Sotheby’s magazine in New York City. He has worked as a Staff Writer for various newspapers in the southeast United States, including the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Baton Rouge Advocate and Mississippi’s Clarion-Ledger. His personal obsessions are the New Orleans Saints, indie music and hiking.
John Simons is the Business Editor at International Business Times. Prior to IBT, he was technology and media editor at The Associated Press. In previous incarnations, John has been an editorial director at Black Enterprise, a staff writer at Fortune magazine, an economic policy reporter at the Wall Street Journal, and a senior editor at U.S. News & World Report. He was also a Markle Fellow at the New America Foundation, where he focused on technology policy and economic opportunity in the digital age. He has discussed his work on The PBS News Hour, CNN, The Fox Network, MSNBC, National Public Radio, and CNBC, where he is a regular contributor. John lives in Montclair, New Jersey, where he enjoys hiking with his wife and daughter, keeping up with the English Premier League, and trying his hand at various home improvement projects.

Michael Learmonth is the Technology, Media & Culture Editor at the International Business Times where he oversees coverage of technology, telecoms, gadgets, Silicon Valley, science and social media. Learmonth came to IBT from Advertising Age, where he served as Deputy Managing Editor and Internet Week New York, where he was Chief Content Officer. Learmonth started his career at Metro, an alternative weekly in Silicon Valley where he covered the first of several boom-bust cycles in tech and has since worked at the Industry Standard, Reuters and Variety in San Francisco, London and New York. He lives on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and can commute door-to-door by bike in 12.5 minutes.

Alberto Riva is IBTimes' World News Editor.
Before joining the IBTimes, he was a producer at the radio division of Bloomberg News, a writer and editor at CNN, and a news agency reporter in his native Italy, where he covered politics and business in Milan and Rome.
He serves on the advisory board of the Deadline Club, the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. A political science graduate of the University of Milan, he is fluent in French and Spanish.

Paul is a native of Toronto, Canada and currently resides in Manhattan. Hanna is Infographics Editor at IBTimes. She works with datasets, builds maps, designs infographics and codes interactives. Before joining IBT in April 2014, Hanna worked as the Infographics Designer at Vocativ and was the Interim Art Director at Lilith Magazine. She graduated from Parsons The New School for Design and Eugene Lang College with degrees in Communication Design and Media Studies.
