Founder, CEO
Etienne Uzac is the Founder and CEO of The International Business Times Inc. The digital publication offers coverage of the most important business and political stories in multiple languages. Uzac wants to take advantage of the current media revolution to reach a bigger and more engaged readership worldwide.
As the CEO of IBTimes, Etienne is responsible for all facets of the business. In his six years at its helm, he has worked on creating a modern and successful digital news organization. The company mission is to foster global economic growth by empowering people everywhere with excellent, insightful and accurate news, analysis and information.
After completing his BSc Geography with Economics at the London School of Economics, Uzac launched International Business times in 2006 in New York City. Comprised of 10 country editions and published in 7 languages, IBTimes offers news from a variety of topics including Finance, Politics, Technology and Culture.

Co-Founder, Chief Content Officer
Johnathan Davis is Chief Content Officer of The International Business Times Inc. He is responsible for digital content strategy across the company's global network, and the deployment and delivery across new and existing platforms. Davis co-founded the company with current Publisher and Chief Executive Etienne Uzac.
Davis previously served as the company's first Executive Editor, establishing global reporting and ethical standards, as well as developing editorial operations across the world. With this framework, IBTimes has grown to serve the needs of over 10 million monthly readers on every continent.
Before IBTimes, Davis worked as an engineer at several semiconductor companies, including Nvidia and S3. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with Computer Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Chief Technology Officer
Michael Lukac is the Chief Technology Officer at International Business Times. He oversees the global IT strategy, design and deployment of all business units.
Prior to his current role in New York, he was based in London and worked as the IT Director at IBTimes UK.
Lukac held various IT titles prior to joining the organization, including the University Hospital Ruzinov in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Lukac received his masters from FEI Technical University at Kosice, Slovakia.

SVP Sales
Scott Miller is the SVP of Sales at International Business Times, overseeing all global display, video and mobile ad sales and sponsorships. He is also involved with the company's business development and marketing efforts.
Prior to joining International Business Times in May 2012, Mr. Miller was SVP of Digital Sales at North American Media Group, where he led the development of the digital advertising products including display, video, social and mobile. Prior to North American Media Group, he was VP of Global Digital Sales at Bloomberg Businessweek. He also held senior roles at Ziff Davis Media and Ziff Davis Enterprise and was one of the Co-Founders of Professional Social Networks, Inc.
Mr. Miller received a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta.

SVP Global Operations
Having assisted IBTimes during its formative years on ad hoc basis, Mr. Pragad joined IBTimes full time since 2009 to expand the IBTimes' global network. Based at the London office, he heads the UK edition and co-ordinates various global operations for the headquarters in New York.
Mr. Pragad holds a Ph.D. from King's College London, University of London.

VP Web Technology
Alex Lim is VP Web Technology at International Business Times. He is responsible for strategic planning, development, execution and implementation related to all of the company's websites. He leads the company's innovation efforts, including the development of next-generation digital products and services.
Prior to joining International Business Times, Mr. Lim was Technical Director for Code and Theory, where he directed all technology and operations for Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. He also held roles at American Media, Fox News.

Director of Business Development
Rob O'Connor oversees business development for International Business Times, focusing on audience development and strategic partnerships. Since joining the company in 2012 Rob has struck partnerships with Buzzfeed, Flipboard, Wapo Labs, Pulse News & NewsCred. Prior to International Business Times Rob spent 10 years with The Associated Press negotiating content licenses with emerging news platforms such as social networks, smartphones, financial terminals and digital signage environments.

Director of Talent and Human Resources
Katerina Irlin is Director of Talent and Human Resources. Katerina is tasked with ensuring that IBT is the Employer of Choice for world-class talent through shaping people strategy, aligning talent to the business, and ensuring IBT’s work environment continues to be as entrepreneurial, high energy and fun as it is today through the rapid growth the company is undergoing. Excellence, Respect, Passion and Ownership are some of the key Core Values that are stressed throughout the Company and engrained in everything IBT does.
Katerina previously led the Human Resources function at Varonis Systems, Dahlman Rose & Co and Market News International. She holds a degree in Finance from Baruch College.

Director of Ad Operations

David Kennedy is the Advertising Operations Director for The International Business Times and leads the Ad Ops team handling all the advertising on their website, IBTimes.com and its satellite sites.
Dave joined IBTimes in August 2011 after building and managing the advertising operations at Accuweather, Inc. for eight years.
After twenty-two years in the Army, Dave retired from the military and went back to school to obtain his degree. He is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a BS in Computer Information Science.

Jeffrey Rothfeder, IBTimes Editor-in-Chief, is a former National News Editor at Bloomberg News, where he supervised a staff of over 200 editors and reporters in the production of 1,000 print, audio and video stories a day. In addition, he has been an editor at Business Week, Time Inc., PC Magazine and Strategy&Business Magazine.
During nearly thirty years as a business journalist, he has written a number of top-selling and critically acclaimed books including "McIlhenny's Gold," "Privacy for Sale," "The People vs. Big Tobacco (co-author), "Make or Break" (co-author), and "Minds Over Matter."

Marcus Baram, IBTimes Managing Editor, is a former senior editor at the Huffington Post, where he ran the front page and supervised a team of producers and reporters. Previously, he was a producer at ABC News, an associate news editor at the Wall Street Journal, news editor at the New York Observer and a reporter at the New York Daily News..
His feature writing and investigative reporting has also been published in the New Yorker, the New York Times, New York magazine, Vibe magazine, the Village Voice and the New York Post. And his upcoming biography of the late Gil Scott-Heron for St. Martin's Press is due for publication in early 2014.

Alberto Riva is IBTimes' World News Editor.
Before joining the IBTimes, he was a producer at the radio division of Bloomberg News, a writer and editor at CNN, and a news agency reporter in his native Italy, where he covered politics and business in Milan and Rome.
He serves on the advisory board of the Deadline Club, the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. A political science graduate of the University of Milan, he is fluent in French and Spanish.

Nadine DeNinno joined The International Business Times in July 2011. She leads the Continuous News Desk (CND), which serves to cover breaking news spanning all vertical topics. Prior to her tenure at IBTimes, she contributed to House Beautiful magazine. She received a B.A. from Fordham University at Lincoln Center.

Dave Smith is Associate Technology Editor of The International Business Times. He manages and coordinates the activities of the technology subsection of the company, contributing his own stories, news and analyses of the latest technology companies, gadgets, and innovations.
He joined the IBTimes in September 2011 as a technology reporter, after holding various editorial positions within Inc. Magazine and USA TODAY.
Smith received a B.A. in print and online journalism from The University of Maryland, College Park.
