Courtney Stodden’s marriage to husband “Green Mile” actor Doug Hutchison was essentially a mistake, her estranged mother, Krista Keller, told Radar Online in an exclusive interview Tuesday. Stodden famously married Hutchison when she was 16 and he was 50.

It was Keller who signed the papers, making Stodden a teenage bride. But now she has her doubts about the marriage. “I don't think it is a very healthy [relationship],” Keller said. “I don't think it has turned into a healthy one.” She added: “It was very unnatural for her to be with someone that much older and I think the problems played themselves out.”

Stodden, now 22, reportedly partied without Hutchison on New Year’s Eve. “If you are in a marriage and you feel like you need to go out like that then there is something wrong in the relationship,” Keller said.

While things with Hutchison are strained, Stodden and Keller also have a strained relationship. “I miss the laughter and the fun we used to have,” Keller said. “She looks great, whatever she's doing. I want her to be happy.” Stodden's mother added: “I am trying very hard to heal my relationship with my daughter.”

One of the reasons their relationship is fractured is because Keller claimed she and Hutchison had an emotional affair. It’s something Hutchison vehemently denied when the three appeared on Lifetime’s “The Mother/Daughter Experiment” in April. “She told me he doesn't want her to be as close to me until I apologize to him,” Keller said about Hutchison. “He doesn't deserve an apology from me!”

Stodden wrote a cryptic tweet about not being able to trust people the day before Keller gave her interview with Radar Online. “There's a snake in the grass around here ... #DontTrustAnyone,” she tweeted Monday. “So done with letting people in. Never wanted to become that kinda person... but here it is...”
