The US Department of Commerce released its Consumer Prices Index for the month of June indicating healthy inflationary data.
CPI fell on monthly basis came as forecasted at -0.1% reduced from the prior reading of -0.2%. As for yearly basis CPI came in at 0.2% which is better than the forecasted reading of 1.2% yet falling from the previous reading of 2.0%.
Core CPI climbed on monthly basis as analysis forecasted it to remain unchanged from prior reading at 0.1% where the actual reading came at 0.2%. Core CPI on yearly basis came in as expected unchanged from the previous reading at 0.9%
