“Crimson Peak” actress Jessica Chastain has called her co-star Charlie Hunnam a very “down-to-earth guy,” who gave her a very thoughtful birthday present. Chastain also rated Hunnam as “absolutely gorgeous” but added that she has not fallen in love with him.

"He bought me this incredible thoughtful birthday present, this amazing artist and this book of photographs,” the actress told E! Online. “He's just this normal down-to-earth [guy]. So cool."

The website also writes that the actress had a crush on the “Sons of Anarchy” star when she was cast with him. She was also worried that she might “fall in love” with Hunnam. But now that the two have worked together in the movie, she has a change of heart.

"I did not fall in love with Charlie, press out!" Chastain said. "I do love him, but I'm not in love with him." The website notes she is currently in a relationship with Italian fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo.

Hunnam also praised Chastain for her work in “Crimson Peak.” "Jessica absolutely killed it, she's wonderful in the film. I think it's one of Guillermo's best films, if not maybe his best film," Hunnam told Details magazine in a recent interview.

“Crimson Peak” has a horror element to it, but Chastain says she is yet to come across any such experience in real life. "I have yet to feel anything," Chastain said. "If there [are] ghosts, let's hang out."

“Crimson Peak” is directed by Guillermo Del Toro and also stars Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain and Jim Beaver. In the movie, Wasikowska plays the role of a British author, Edith Cushing, from the nineteenth century who resides in a haunted house. She also has a cryptic husband Sir Thomas Sharpe (Hiddleston) and his evil sister Lady Lucille Sharpe.
