Wednesday, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 3.8% year-over-year in March, slower than the 4.2% rise seen in the preceding month. A year ago, consumer prices had grown 5.7%.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages prices rose 6.1% annually in March, while clothing and footwear prices increased 1.4%.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased 0.2% in March, compared with a 0.6% increase in the previous month.
