While the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince of Wales are wrapping up their highly publicized – and fashionable -- Royal Canada Tour, the Danish royal couple is on their own stylish tour throughout the United States this week. Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and his wife Princess Mary are currently in Boston for a two-day trade mission after wrapping up an appearance in Washington D.C.– and Princess Mary is no shrinking violet.

Princess Mary made an appearance wearing a white dress with floral print, appearing alongside her husband at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington Monday in honor of the U.S. Denmark Trade Mission, the Associated Press reported. Prior to the couple’s Boston arrival, the royal twosome attended a gala Wednesday evening in Washington D.C., where the Princess turned heads when she arrived wearing a bold Ikat-printed evening gown, designed by Julie Fagerholt Heartmade, a Danish designer, the Daily Mail reported.

Floral dresses appear to be favorable for the princess. Prior to the Danish royal couple’s visit, Princess Mary appeared, once again, in florals when she wore a pleated dress in a blooming orange rose print. She wore the dress to present the Carlsberg Foundation Research awards in Copenhagen.

Prince Frederik and Princess Mary will continue on their Boston journey as they are scheduled to appear at an event at Boston University on Thursday, followed by a business luncheon at the Statehouse with Gov. Charlies Baker for Friday, according to AP.

The couple will be staying in the United Sates until Sunday.

While Princess Mary does seem to favor a good floral frock, she is also known for making public appearances wearing charming printed cocktail dress, tailored coats and jewel-tone gowns.
