The West Texas barrel is climbing 0.8% since the session opened, to trade at 80.34 at the NYMEX.

For the rest of the session, we could witness an attack to 82.00, given the greenback's weakness, after it was known that China is diversifying its dollars reserves into euros and yens.

If the pair reverts the trend, the nearest support is at 79.88, while the resistance is at 85.00 dollars per barrel.
