A TechCrunch on Friday unveiled a new touch screen PC tablet, the CrunchPad, which was introduced earlier this year by Michael Arrington, and designed for optimized web applications.

The new CrunchPad tablet features a 12-inch screen and weighs 1.2kg or 2.6 pounds. It has Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities that enables users to watch videos and edit documents, USB port for plug-ins, and a webcam.

It was also developed by Fusion Garage with an open source web browser operating system, equipped with 1 GB memory and 1.6 GHz Intel Atom.

The CrunchPad will be available in November for $400, According to the Straits Time report in Singapore.
