Crytek has taken the wraps off its first DLC pack for "Crysis 3." Dubbed "The Lost Island," this is the first "Crysis 3" DLC that's hit the market since "Crysis 3" was released earlier this year. "The Lost Island" will send players to a Philippine island, where they will investigate an alien presence. "The Lost Island" will be available on June 4 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 as well as PC versions of "Crysis 3" for $15.
"The Lost Island" is a multiplayer-focused DLC for "Crysis 3" that puts the player in a tropical locale. Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli stated that "Crysis 3: The Lost Island" will "provide 'Crysis 3' fans with geniuinely game-changing new tactical options, game modes and weapons." We shall see.
On Wednesday, the official "Crysis" Twitter account teased that a "major Crysis 3 announcement" would be made Thursday. Crytek has indeed kept its promise.
