The CW president Mark Pedowitz has fueled speculations that Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West will be making a move from “The Flash” to “Legends of Tomorrow.”

In a recent interview with Black Girl Nerds, Pedowitz confirmed that “Legends” will add new characters to its lineup following Stein’s (Victor Garber) death and Jax’s (Franz Drameh) decision to leave the team earlier in the current season.

“As we’ve lost some characters this season, you will see new ones pop up,” Pedowitz said, before adding that Kid Flash might be boarding the Waverider soon. “You might see Wally West show up on ‘Legends.’”

When asked if Wally will be a permanent fixture on “Legends,” the network boss said with a laugh, “I can’t answer that, you’ll have to watch.”

While “Legends” executive producer Marc Guggenheim has yet to comment on rumors that Wally is joining the show, Guggenheim told ComicBook.com last month that a “returning” and “previously established character from the “Arrowverse” will be stepping in to take Stein and Jax’s place on the Waverider. “We do have a plan for how to replace Firestorm on the bridge,” Guggenheim told the website. “It’s a really cool one. It’s one we’re really excited about.”

Although it seems that the plan has already been finalized, Guggenheim said that he’s not allowed to disclose it yet. “We do have a game plan. We’ve always had a game plan,” the exec producer assured fans. “I just can’t talk about the game plan. The CW publicity will determine when we get to unleash that bit of news.”

Last month’s midseason finale confirmed the exits of Garber and Drameh, who played the characters that form Firestorm. Garber’s Stein was killed by Earth-X Nazis in last November’s four-way crossover between “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl” and “Legends.” Meanwhile, at the end of Season 3, episode 9, Drameh’s Jax decided to leave the team and return to 2017 Central City after realizing that he would never be able to move on from Stein’s death if he stayed on the ship.
