RTTNews - Friday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus said industrial turnover fell 7.6% year-on-year in February, after declining 5.5% in the previous month. Export turnover slipped 10.5%, while the domestic turnover was down 7.2% in February.

During the month, the turnover in mining and quarrying dropped 26% annually compared to a 16.4% fall in the previous month. Manufacturing turnover dipped 7.3%, after a 5.5% decrease in January. Turnover of electricity supply was down 6.2%, faster than a 4.6% decline in the preceding month.

For the January-February period, industrial turnover slipped 6.6% from the corresponding period last year.
