RTTNews - Tuesday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus said producer prices dropped 2% year-on-year in May, after falling 0.2% in April. Producer prices decreased 2% in the local market and 1.7% in the export market.

On an annual basis, electricity supply prices dropped 23.4% in May. However, manufacturing as also mining and quarrying prices rose 2.3% and 5.4% respectively.

Compared to the previous month, producer prices fell 0.3% in May.

For the January to May period, producer prices rose 1% compared to last year.
