RTTNews - Cyprus recorded a trade deficit of EUR359.8 million in April, down from a deficit of EUR425.7 million in the previous month, the country's Statistical Service said Wednesday.

Total exports increased 10.2% month-on-month to EUR85.6 million from EUR77.7 million in March. However, imports dropped 11.5% to EUR445.5 million from EUR503.4 million in the previous month.

During the January to April period, the trade deficit decreased to EUR1.5 billion from EUR1.9 billion in the same period last year.
