RTTNews - Friday, a preliminary report released by the Czech Statistical Office said industrial output dipped 23.2% year-on-year in April, after a 17% fall in the preceding month.

Sales from industrial activity fell 23.9% at current prices in April, while direct export sales dropped 25.3%. The value of industrial new orders slipped 27.5%. Registered employment in enterprises was down 12.4%, whereas the average wages grew 2.3%.

On a working day adjusted basis, industrial production declined 20.5% in April compared to the same period in the previous year.
