Thursday, the Czech Statistical Office revealed in a preliminary report that the industrial production declined 17.5% year-over-year in March, after falling 23.4% in February. Meanwhile, revenue from industrial activity was down 14.7%.

After adjusted for working days effect, industrial production fell 20.9% on an annual basis in March.

In March, the industrial new orders value dropped 16.7% annually, while non-domestic orders decreased 15.5%.

At the same time, registered employment in enterprises with 50 or more employees declined 9.9%, while the average wages in enterprises increased 2.4%.
