RTTNews - Monday, the Czech Statistical Office announced that the industrial producer price index or PPI declined 3.8% year-over-year in May, compared to the 2.5% fall in the previous month. This was the highest annual decline since 1991. Economists were looking for a decline of 3.5%.

On a monthly basis, the PPI decreased 0.4% in May, after falling 0.5% in April.
