Net profit at Telefonica O2 Czech Republic dipped 1.2 percent in the first nine months to 8.9 billion crowns ($524.1 million), a touch better than analyst expectations.

Analysts in a Reuters poll had expected on average net profit of 8.36 billion in the period.

Revenue fell 6.8 percent to 44.81 billion, just above a forecast of 44.55 billion, and operating profit before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (OIBDA) was down 5 percent to 20.47 billion crowns.

The company confirmed its full-year OIBDA target of a 0 to 4 percent drop.
