USD Dollar (USD)
The Dollar dropped against most majors as US stocks climbed and on the back of better than expected GDP data that was released at -1% vs. -1.3% forecast. Initial Jobless Claims balanced the optimism when it came out slightly worse than forecast. The Dow Jones rose 0.40% and the NASDAQ 0.15%, on a volatile session with thin volume. Crude-oil managed to end in the positive side closing at 72.5$ after breaking down the 70$ level. Gold added to his value and closed at 947.8$ an ounce. Today, Consumer Spending will probably show increase in July and is expected at 0.3% vs. 0.4% previously. Also today, the Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index expected at 64.6 vs. 63.2 previously.
