Recap: Sterling was higher as a result of better data and hawkish comments from BOE member Dale. The Euro after extending yesterday's gains overnight, fell in NY trading as their were renewed concerns about Greece's ability to finance its debt on its own and downgrades to prospects for growth in countries such as Germany and Portugal. The greenback rose against the Yen as US yields rose, and commodity currencies after a strong overnight session eased in NY trading as there was some risk aversion.
