In a strange twist, everyone knows who the father is in the Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade “secret baby” controversy, but not every is sure of the mother. There have been varying reports that Sandrina Schultz is the child’s mother, while others say it’s Aja Metoyer.

If Metoyer is the mother of the NBA star’s third and youngest son, Xavier Zechariah Wade, there could be a controversy stirring with “Happy Endings” actor Damon Wayans Jr., TMZ Sports reported. Wayans has two children with Metoyer.

Wayans spoke out and said he wants to make sure his kids are safe and protected, most likely referring to the paparazzi who are known to be aggressive with celebrities and their children. "I really have nothing to do with Aja's situation,” the star told the site. “We both live completely separate lives, aside from co-parenting.” Then Wayans added: “My concern are my daughters and that they don't get hurt in any of this.”

Metoyer’s baby was born on Nov. 10, and Wayans said his two little girls "love their little brother and that's all I care about." Wade maintains that the child was conceived while he was on a break from fiancée Gabrielle Union, but TMZ dug up some “evidence” via Instagram that shows that the NBA player might have cheated on Union.

The child would have been conceived nine months ago, in February, and the Hollywood stunner, 41, was still posting romantic photos to the social media site. On Feb. 5 the “Think Like a Man” starlet shared a picture with the following caption: "Sasha don't play when it comes to her man... 'Down to ride 'til the very end, it's me and my boyfriend.’” Then, on Feb. 19, Union posted, "It takes a village to help an actress learn her lines... @dwyanewade takin a break from his Gatorade commercial to give me a line reading. Thanks coach :)"

In April, however, Union stopped posting cutesy messages about Wade and instead shared a cryptic message, which read: “We cannot start over, but we can begin now, and make a new ending.” Another sad message said, “Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were."

But Union clearly wasn’t down for long. Wade came back into the picture (literally and probably figuratively) in May when she shared a photo of the NBA star opening up a door for her and added, “I like this dude.”

They got engaged on Dec. 21 after Wade proposed with an 8.5-carat diamond ring.
