Lifetime isn’t hiding it’s excitement over the return of “Dance Moms” alum Chloe Lukasiak. After revealing Chloe and her mother, Christi Lukasiak, are going to appear in the Season 7 finale this month, the network has started promoting the mother-daughter duo’s comeback on social media.

Most recently, Lifetime took to Facebook to tells “Dance Moms” viewers they are “jumping for joy” to see Chloe and Christi reuniting with their former ALDC teammates. The post included a throwback shot of Chloe, now 15, rehearsing in coach Abby Lee Miller’s Pittsburgh dance studio as Christi looks on beaming.

This is far from the first time Lifetime has celebrated the Lukasiak family’s upcoming cameo. On Wednesday, Lifetime posted a somewhat controversial scene from the Season 1 finale to Facebook. In the episode the ALDC girls tried out for singer Lux’s music video “It’s Like Summer” and despite all the elite junior girls wanting the gig, Chloe was gifted the part.

“Chloe beats Maddie [Ziegler] for the lead,” Lifetime titled the clip. “Chloe really shined in this moment, we can’t wait to see her back!”

While some fans remember the episode fondly, others bashed the network for rekindling the former teammate’s rivalry. “All this talk of Chloe coming back and who beat who back in the day is so unnecessary…Y’all can do better,” one viewer wrote. “I’m so sick of all this old drama coming back,” said another fan. Others agreed it was strange that the show would continue to encourage the “Maddie vs. Chloe” rivalry.

This isn’t the first time Lifetime has perpetuated the idea of a feud between Maddie, who parted ways with the series last year, and Chloe. In 2014, viewers slammed the network for releasing a “The Battle of Maddie vs. Chloe” special, which looked back at four seasons of their rivalry and asked viewers to vote for their favorite dancer before its premiere.

Lifetime has revealed they will be counting down Chloe and Christi’s best moments on the show ahead of their appearance in the Season 7 finale, which airs Feb. 21.

As International Business Times reported last month, Chloe and Christi made a surprise appearance at Starbound Nationals in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on Nov. 11. Chloe did not compete with the ALDC at the event and Lifetime confirmed she was “Just visiting... for now” when asked about their potential full-time return to the series.
