Abby Lee Miller will get a new employee in Tuesday’s Season 6 installment of “Dance Moms.” In her quest to get her daughter, Brynn Rumfallo, a permanent spot on Abby’s elite junior team, Ashlee Allen will become the coach’s right-hand woman in Lifetime’s episode 9.

TV Guide’s synopsis for “Nia Saves The Day” reveals Ashlee will step in for Abby’s recently fired office manager. Perhaps she’s trying to make sure Brynn, 12, gets off probation before Maddie Ziegler’s last competition?

Elsewhere in episode 9, four dancers will go up against one another when Abby assign two duets. Abby will put Maddie, 13, and Brynn together in the hopes Brynn will step up. “I haven’t seen you step up to be a leader on this team and that’s something that Maddie does and that’s something that you need to do,” Abby tells the newcomer in the preview.

“Nothing makes a dancer work harder than putting another dancer whose better right in front of them,” Abby explains in the promo.

And while Kalani Hilliker, who is partnered with Kendall Vertes, tells the competing dancers they’re “going down” in the promo, she may want to worry about herself instead. The summary for Tuesday’s installment reveals Kalani’s back injury will return. With the 15-year-old dancer's mom, Kira Girard, still in Arizona, “the moms must take care of Kalani,” the summary reveals.

[Spoiler Alert]

While the episode title indicates its Nia’s turn to shine, she does not earn a solo. One “Dance Moms” spoiler site has revealed Nia filled in for Kalani in the duet battle at Fierce competition in Van Nuys, California, Dec. 12. However, despite her heroic move, Brynn and Maddie reportedly walked away with first-place in the junior division for their lyrical dance “Together As One.” Kalani and Nia are said to have placed first in the teen division and second overall for their contemporary piece “Grifters.”

The elite junior group, which appears to have Maddie and Nia in featured roles, also swept the competition. The musical theater routine earned first-place in the junior division and first-place overall.

Dance Moms” Season 6, episode 9 airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
