The ALDC elite junior team is headed for greener pastures. Amid their coach Abby Lee Miller’s breakdown over her legal issues, the “Dance Moms” squad will find a new teacher in Season 6, episode 7 of the Lifetime series. A sneak peek of “Debbie Allen to the Rescue" shows the girls receiving instruction from “Fame” star Debbie Allen.

After the moms reveal to their children that Abby doesn’t want them around anymore, JoJo Siwa suggests they find another coach in the episode 7 preview. “Let’s go find a teacher that wants us," the 12 year old says. The sneak-peek video for Tuesday’s installment shows the group rehearsing inside Debbie Allen’s Dance Academy in Los Angeles alongside Abby’s assistant, Gianna Martello.

After the girls perform their weekly group routine for Debbie, she praises their skills. “You know its very, very evident that you work together as a group,” she says.

When JoJo reveals the theme of the dance is human robots, Debbie says dancers make great actors. “We don’t have words. We have our bodies and our faces to tell the audiences and how we move what are we talking about,” she says. “To dance is to be powerful, to be very God-like. I just think it is one of the most incredible arts to study and it gives you power. So when you dance, you have to dance with that kind of power.

Following Debbie’s critique, the moms praise their daughters’ new leader.

“I think Debbie Allen and Abby are very opposite dance teachers and choreographers,” Jill Vertes tells the cameras. “Abby is always screaming at the kids. Debbie Allen talks to the girls. She’s very inspirational. I love that. I think its great.”

Holly Frazier, who met with Debbie after her daughter, Nia Frazier, took an African dance class at her studio in episode 5, is in awe of the coach. “She is a living legend in the history of dance. You can feel that positive energy. You can feel that sense of commitment.”

While its clear the ALDC will have a new leader present in episode 7, Abby won’t be completely missing in action. The first trailer released for the upcoming installment shows Abby telling her girls to perform well, even when she’s not present. “When you step out on that stage, I want you to be what people expect you to be, especially when I’m not here. I have things to do and I have battles to fight.”
