Abby Lee Miller (center) and her elite junior team will return for "Dance Moms" Season 6 Tuesday. Lifetime

Abby Lee Miller and the “Dance Moms” cast is back to life on the dance floor. The Lifetime series will premiere the first episode of Season 6 Tuesday night and for fans gearing up for the premiere, we’ve got the inside details on the forthcoming installment.

According to Lifetime, episode 1 will be loaded with drama. “It’s the ALDC’s first week of the competition season and Abby starts it off with a bang — a big announcement that will change the future of the team,” the network’s synopsis for “New Season, New Rules“ reveals.

Not only will Abby drop a bombshell on her students — she is teased to be barring them from doing any activity but dance in Season 6 — there will also be some issues among the team when a new member appears. Abby will be adding former “Dance Moms” guest Brynn Rumfallo to the mix in Season 6, a decision which won’t sit too well with Kendall Vertes and her mom. “Her new substitute on the team is a slap in the face to Jill and Kendall ,” the summary reveals. So, why the need for a new dancer? It’s all about Maddie Ziegler!

As most “Dance Moms” fans are aware, Maddie landed a career-changing role in “Jurassic World” director Colin Trevorrow’s drama “The Book of Henry” in October. Due to the movie filming in New York, Maddie was absent from most “Dance Moms” Season 6 competitions, which took place primarily on the West Coast. It appears Brynn is going to be Maddie’s replacement.

While Maddie will not compete in episode 1, she will be in attendance to cheer on her teammates as they go up against the BDA (Broadway Dance Academy). Will the ALDC (Abby Lee Dance Company) be able to beat their new rivals or will they walk away without a big win?

[Warning: Major Premiere Spoilers Below!]

According to the “Dance Moms” spoiler site, the ALDC fared extremely well at Sheer Talent Special Edition Competition in Los Angeles Oct. 10. The group dance, titled “The Girl In the Plastic Bubble,” reportedly placed first in the teen division. Brynn’s solo, “The Coronation,” took home the top prize in the pre-teen division. JoJo Siwa’s solo, “Own It,” reportedly did not place in the overalls.

The BDA is said to have taken home second-place with their group routine, “The Waiting Room.”

“Dance Moms” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
