The end of “Dance Moms” Season 5 is almost upon us, and following her dramatic role in last Tuesday’s installment, Nia Sioux Frazier is teasing what fans can expect from the finale. According to the Lifetime star, fans should expect the unexpected in episode 31.

Speaking to International Business Times Monday, Nia had one word to describe the forthcoming installment of the long-running dance competition series: “interesting.”

“It is going to be interesting. I'm just going to leave it at that. It’s very interesting,” Nia told IBTimes with a laugh.

According to the 14-year-old “Dance Moms” cast member and "Slay" singer, the episode will definitely shock viewers. “You won’t see anything coming,” she teased. “You haven’t seen a finale like this.”

While fans must wait until Tuesday night to catch the episode, titled “Chaos at Nationals,” Nia did open up about last week’s shocking conclusion. Viewers will remember that Nia beat teammate Kalani Hilliker at the weekly competition. Despite winning with her solo, “Bye Felicia," coach Abby Lee Miller went back on her word and informed her that despite her big win, she was not guaranteed a solo at nationals.

“I was actually kind of surprised because the whole solo thing was whoever won the solo got a solo at nationals. So, I was a little surprised. I was definitely disappointed,” Nia said.

Despite Abby’s decision not to grant her a national solo on the spot, Nia says she remained positive. “You know, those kind of things happen sometimes. Whenever those things happen you just need to stay strong, keep your head up, just hope for the best.”

Nia isn't the only one teasing Tuesday’s finale episode. While fans wait to find out whether Nia will compete in her first nationals solo in the “Dance Moms” finale, Lifetime has released a sneak-peek video of the upcoming installment. In a clip from episode 31, Nia’s mom, Holly Frazier, explains to Abby why she thinks her daughter deserves a solo.

“She is the only person who has never done a solo at nationals,” Holly tells Abby.

The “Dance Moms” Season 5 finale airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on Lifetime. Check back next week for Nia’s thoughts on her music career and upcoming video for her second single, “Slay.”
