Paula Deen has officially hung up her dancing shoes. The Season 21 contestant and her partner, Louis Van Amstel, were the most recent couple to be eliminated from “Dancing With the Stars” during Week 6 of the competition. But Paula was anything but sad when show host Tom Bergeron announced she was getting the ballroom boot.

“I’m so excited,” the 68-year-old chef and best-selling cookbook author responded to her elimination. “I get to see my grandbabies.”

But it looks like that’s not the only reason Paula was anxious to head home and begin her overdue book tour. During an interview with E! News, she dished after the live show that she felt the judges “weren’t crazy” about her competing on the long-running series.

“It was apparent that they weren’t crazy about me being here,” she said, noting she felt like the judges critiqued her routines harder “from the start” compared to her fellow competitors.

Fans got a taste of the judges’ harsh criticism when they analyzed her Week 6 jazz routine, which was inspired by Madonna’s hit single “Vogue.”

While Season 21 guest judge Olivia Newton John noted it looked like Paula had “fun” on the dance floor, Bruno Tonioli had much stricter words for the performer -- specifically about how Paula didn’t exactly capture the essence of the 1980s house dance.

“I’m not sure about Vogue,” Bruno said, comparing Paula’s “Famous Dance Night” routine to the magazine. “It was a little bit like the National Enquirer -- very entertaining but had to be taken with a pinch of salt.”

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba also pointed out in her critique she was disappointed the chef didn’t break out her sexy side like Paula did during Week 5 of "DWTS" with Mark Ballas.

But Paula told E! News she isn’t taking their criticism to heart. “I wasn't dancing for them. I was dancing for all those women out there that are sitting on their sofa. Get up and dance! Get up and dance girls!"
