Another “Dancing with the Stars” Season 21 couple met their fates during Tuesday night’s installment of the hit ABC series. So, which two-stepping duo became the second pair to get the boot from the ballroom this season? Well, unfortunately for Karina Smirnoff fans, the Ukrainian beauty and her tiny but fierce partner, Victor Espinoza, were ask to sashay away after Week 2’s double-elimination contest.

“I had an amazing time, especially tonight,” Victor said after it was revealed he was going home. “Tonight was special for me because I wanted to dance with Karina and everybody else with all my heart.”

The 43-year-old jockey then blamed a wardrobe malfunction for his underwhelming performance that earned a score of 17 out of 30 during Part 1 of the “Hometown Glory” episode Monday night. “I know yesterday I was a little bit off because my pants were so tight,” he explained.

But it looks like things down under loosened up for Victor because the latest jockey to win the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing wowed the judges with his rumba to the Alicia Keys song “Girl on Fire” (a song Karina chose to represent her life).

“Whoever said size matters never met you because that was incredible,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said while Julianne Hough added it was the best dance the partners had ever performed. However, it would also become their last, despite their earning a commendable score of 20 out of 30.

Although the two may have been eliminated during Season 21 of “DWTS,” Karina divulged to Access Hollywood that she knows she has a “friend for life” in Victor.

“He taught me [that] you never look back, you always look forward. This is something he would always say ... every day. It’s not just about the dreams, it’s about the goals that you set for yourself. Everyone can dream, but not many people set goals and go after them,” she said while explaining what she was taking away from the time spent with her petite partner.

“Dancing with the Stars” airs on ABC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT.
