Teresa Giudice won’t be making her way to the ballroom floor anytime soon. According to reports, the 43-year-old “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star has turned down the opportunity to compete on Season 22 of “Dancing With the Stars” … in addition to the show’s hefty compensation.

“Teresa was offered a six-figure sum [to compete on 'DWTS'], but she decided against is,” a source told Page Six. The insider continued to tell the outlet that the “Turning the Tables” author felt the need to “spend time with her family and be there for her children” following her recent 11-month stay in prison. (Teresa was originally sentenced to 15-months but was given an early release date, People magazine reported.)

On Dec. 23, the Bravo reality star, who pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit to wire and mail fraud, was released from the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury, Connecticut. She then reached out to her fans on Dec. 30 to give them a quick update on her life.

“Hi everyone, I’m back!” she said in the nine-second video. “I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. It’s gonna be a great 2016. Love, love, love you all.”

And it looks like Teresa’s prediction was right! The mother-of-four has kicked off her year on an exciting note, celebrating the release of her prison memoir “Turning the Tables.” The book's release party will take place on Feb. 17 in New York.

"The world will see a new Teresa. A different Teresa. Well, actually, the Teresa I always was,” the author wrote in a statement.

Although 2016 has proven to be a fresh start for the New Jersey native, the same can’t be said for her husband Joe Giudice who will begin his 41-month prison sentence for fraud in March (the same month that Season 22 of "DWTS" is set to begin). According to Forbes, Joe, 43, will serve his time at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey. Once his sentence is completed, the Italian citizen faces deportation.
