Nyle DiMarco might be a fan favorite but the Season 22 contestant became judge Len Goodman’s least favorite competitor during Week 6 of “Dancing With the Stars.”

So what exactly turned Len off about the sizzling hot contestant? Well, it was what Nyle said in his pre-package video regarding his competition that had Len turning up his nose. According to the “America’s Next Top Model” winner, his biggest competitor from the hit ABC series isn’t a fellow celebrity dancer but one of the show’s pros!

“I think my competition right now is Val [Chmerkovskiy],” Nyle admitted.

“Val and Ginger [Zee]?” the show’s producer asked.

“No, I mean Val! Val himself,” he clarified, revealing that he doesn’t see the other eight celebrity contestant as competition.

But unfortunately for Nyle, Len didn’t find his comment or self-assurance to be endearing. Instead he thought the model’s confidence came off as cocky and let Peta Murgatroyd’s partner know that during his critique of their Week 6 routine. (The two performed a quickstep inspired by the iconic dance from “The Mask” during Famous Dances Night.)

“Don’t start saying you’re as good as Val because you’re annoying people,” Len bluntly told the contestant, who was dressed as Jim Carey’s green-faced character.

“DWTS” co-host Erin Andrews then addressed Len’s harsh criticism as well as the other comments from the judges who weren’t thrilled with his “wild” routine.

“Well, I think it’s fair criticism,” Nyle said. “So, I definitely understand and accept it.

Nyle received a 25 out of 30 for his Week 6 performance.

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
