Time to dust off the old dancing shoes! In just a few weeks, ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” will return to the small screen for more hip-shaking fun. But which celebrities will compete for the Mirror Ball trophy in Season 22?
Well, it has been confirmed that the 2016 cast will be unveiled on Tuesday, March 8 on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Although “DWTS” won’t disclose the red carpet crew just yet, the show has already revealed that there will be a major switch up at the judges’ table. Len Goodman is making his way back to the panel while Julianne Hough will exit the series in order to pursue “exciting,” new projects.
"I will miss being on the panel for Season 22, but have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing," she said in a statement to People magazine. But just because Hough is giving up her seat at the judges’ table doesn’t mean she’ll be gone for good! The dancer promised viewers that she’ll make her way back to the ballroom.
Producer Rob Wade explained to outlet that Hough, who competed as a professional dancer on the series from Season 4 to 8, will always be apart of the “DWTS” family.
“We hope to see her back in the ballroom in the future,” he added.
Some celebrities who have been rumored to star in the upcoming season of “DWTS” are “Fuller House” actress Jodie Sweetin, “Keeping Up With the Kardashian” reality star Scott Disick and Teresa Giudice from “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
Sweetin, whose “Fuller House” co-star Candace Cameron Bure competed on Season 18 of the show, responded to the gossip on Twitter.
“Omg! So many rumors flying around!” she said, stating that the chatter began when “Fuller House” invited “DWTS” pros Maksim and Val Chmerkovskiy to appear in an episode of the upcoming Netflix series. “Now everyone is saying I’m on DWTS! I AM a fan!”
"Dancing With the Stars" will return with Season 22 on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
