Athletes of all shapes and sizes have been featured on the hit ABC reality series "Dancing With the Stars," from Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis to Olympic speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno. But now the long-running competition may be adding “2015 Super Bowl champion” to its long list of competitors.

Rob Gronkowski, the fancy-footed tight end from the New England Patriots, revealed in an interview with TMZ that he would absolutely consider joining “DWTS” as a celebrity contestant if the gig was made available to him. (And we would absolutely considering watching the Gronk break out his famous dance moves on the ballroom floor!)

“Maybe one day. We’ll see!” the 6-foot-6-inch football player teased about the possibility of appearing on the competition. “I don’t know how good my moves will get. If someone actually teaches me how to do moves ...," Gronkowski said of his willingness to learn technique. "All my moves are from doing my own moves!”

One of the many reasons we’d love to see Gronkowski on “DWTS” is that he’s not embarrassed to embrace his inner dancing diva, whether it’s on the sidelines during a game, or in the middle of an episode of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”

In 2014, Gronkowski left everyone in stitches when he appeared on the CW series as a special guest. The athlete danced, pushed and benched his way into audience’s hearts as he played off of host Wayne Brady and the “Whose Line” cast’s crazy antics in one of the series' goofiest episodes.

“So tell us something -- we all know that you’re a football player. What’s something we don’t know about you?” Brady asked, trying to find a subject to sing about.

“I like to dance!” Gronkowski gleefully responded before shaking it to the improv song.

What kind of dance moves would Gronkowski bring to “DWTS”? The 25-year-old revealed he would “go with the flow” in addition to bringing a little hip action to the stage.
